ARTIST;
- Began career making art after graduating the Burnley School of Professional Art.
- Entered Galleries and Exhibitions and won awards, such as, “Best of Show”, “First Place” and “Featured Artist”.
- Worked in Department Store Window Display @ Downtown Seattle Nordstorm. Then Animation for ILM Film. Art Curator for MIVAL gallery.
- Formed, Draw the Line Art Studio. Conducted art sessions and learned that teaching taught me, the teacher, treasures of a creative career!
- Solo Installations and Artworks of mine are represented throughout Northwest Art Galleries. Commissions for Corporate and Private Collections also comprise my Paintings.
- Expanded DTLA to feature other artists alongside my artworks for Studio Tours.
- Draw the Line Arts Gallery followed.
Gratitude’s of thankfulness to all who have supported, throughout the years of viewing and purchasing my artworks, are given.
AUTHOR;
- Penned a non-fiction narrative memoir of my first twenty-eight years, titled, Laid Bare: Rendered to Truth.
The book recounts and follows the lifeline of hope throughout surviving my formidable formative youngster years into adulthood. Readers are drawn into descriptive experiences of abuses, abandonment, alcoholism, mental illnesses and pervasive depression without my using the labeling terms. Desolate cycles can be stopped. An awareness to amazing realms opened by sensitivity to the gift of life through traumas and tragedies.
